Lisa Freire is a Chilean illustrator who is currently living and working in Brussels. She studied illustration in Santiago de Chile.
For this project Lisa Freire started off with some sketches on paper, and later on acrylic paint to decorate the wooden surface of the ukulele. As an inspiration she used nature and its organic forms and colours to match the vibrant music of La Malanga. They both take us on a trip full of surprises.
