There is no way GRANDGEORGE could have anticipated even the tiniest bit of what was going to happen when he started a sabbatical in 2014 to “record an album and have no regrets”. His home-made demos turned into a collaboration with Mark Plati (David Bowie, Charlie Winston,…), a deal with a record company, an “RTBF-D6bel music award” a few days after the release of his debut album “So Logical”, and more than 100 gigs on some of the most prestigious stages in Belgium (Couleur Café, Francofolies de Spa, Ancienne Belgique, Botanique…). A very unexpected but not so surprising career shift for a talented young man carying a contagious optimism!
GRANDGEORGE will not be touring in 2017 as he focuses on the preparation of his second album. However, he could not decline the invitation to play at the Give Music a Chance Festival:
“learning music, listening to live music, communicating through music has had such a tremendous influence on the man I became I believe Music Fund’s initiative definitely participates in making the world a better place and has to be supported!”
