Alex Lucas, Leo Nocta and Ysi

Alex Lucas is a 25 years old singer, composer, musician and producer from Brussels. After living for 5 years in Brighton, England, where he studied music, and released 3 EPs with his indie-pop band “The Dubarrys”, Alex returned to Belgium in 2017 to begin his solo project. This return to Belgium has borne fruit. In one year Alex Lucas released his own single “Fade Away” which was “Pure like of the week” on PURE Radio, and participated in featuring on Alex Germys single “Never Gonna Be The Same” and “Todiefor”  with Cool Kids, featuring Caballero & Jean Jass. He also played at several festivals last summer alongside Alex Germys, including at Francofolies de Spa, Brussels Summer Festival, Nights Botany and Grand Place.

Alex’s next single, in the same style as his first single “Fade Away”, comes out in mid-March  and will be accompanied by a video. His next concert will take place on March 10 at the workshop Rock d’Huy in support of RO.

Traveling from a young age with the keys of his keyboard, Leo Nocta today creates pop-rock melodies in classical and jazz colors. His deep voice resonates through an acoustic universe that is rocked by a raw authenticity found among artists such as Jamie Cullum, John Mayer and Ludovico Einaudi.

Ysi, whose real name is Sophie Couturiaux, has an assertive voice that creates an emotional atmosphere. For Ysi, music is an outlet for feelings that are difficult to express, and artists like Patrick Watson, Agnes Obel, Tamino and Novo Amor are guides in the indie-folk genre she loves, but also draws from various other genres including jazz, soul, pop and country.
